don’t believe in the blue days

the world is falling apart
in new ways
every week
besides the odds
we still here
surviving
i’ll always struggle
with emotional pain
so i choose don’t look
the news
the mirror
the accumulated lottery prize
there’s a whole world outside
there’s a whole cosmo on my mind
and i don’t know
how to make both work
